In Kenya many children have become orphans or homeless due to poverty, disease, social exclusion, and injustice.
Malaika Charity Shop is helping to give orphaned and vulnerable Kenyan Children the home they never had.
Malaika Children's Home is located on the outskirts of Nairobi in Mwiki, Kasarani division. The founder Jacinta Mullan has been working with orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya since 2008, and she officially opened the Home in 2010.

Malaika Children's Home currently cares for 12 children, and all of their needs are taken care of including: housing, clothing, food and medical attention. Education is also vitally important and all the children are attending Dominic Primary School in Mwiki.
